We assist in enrollment and billing services, while helping patients get the medical coverage, financial assistance and social services benefits they need.
Under the direction of the Division President, the Vice President is responsible for the overall viability, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the Revenue Cycle Operations within an assigned region.
Make accurate forecasts concerning resources required, and realizations expected, for all assigned projects.
Assist with the implementation of new clients, with a particular emphasis on go-live planning and resolution of start-up technical issues.
Work with technical teams to ensure that information is accurately, efficiently and securely transmitted between Firstsource and clients.
Assess operational workflows on an ongoing basis to ensure productivity of resources.
Monitor realization and activity at the account level to ensure maximum AR liquidation for all assigned clients.
Provide leadership and direction to the Regional Presidents and corresponding management teams to ensure effectiveness of operations.
Maintain positive working relationships with existing and new clients with a constant focus on premier customer service in a growth-oriented environment.
Assist and direct the Product Line Directors in establishing quality improvement programs to ensure consistent and effective client results.
Ensure that products, services, and functions are in compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
Maintain knowledge of Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement requirements.
Represent the Company publicly by maintaining membership in professional associations and attending regular meetings.
Advise and make recommendations to the Regional President on process improvement and cost containment initiatives.
Provide training and assistance on major patient accounting, billing and denial management platforms as needed.
Maintain staff compliance with Company policies and procedures and coordinate risk management and personnel issues with the Assistant Vice President, Human Resources.
Review monthly client history analyses, regional and client-based profitability reports, and various other statistical and performance reports; and make necessary operational changes to maximize overall Company viability.
Maintain adequate and appropriate staffing patterns with proactive flexing relative to client needs and volumes.
Attend regular review meetings with hospital management to maintain rapport and ensure client satisfaction.
Provide monthly reports and a summary of operational performance to the Regional President.
Supervise the Product Line Directors.
Conduct regular communication meetings with regional management team members to provide operational updates.
Create and maintain a viable working relationship with employees and management staff of MedAssist that allows for accomplishing the desired goals of the Company on a timely basis.
Represent Firstsource to clients, prospective clients, and other external parties, as necessary during the course of employment, so as to enhance the image of the Company
A minimum of 10 years operations experience in a large healthcare system or related industry service provider.
Demonstrated accomplishments in leadership with a results-oriented philosophy.
Strong project management and analytical abilities.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Experience is public speaking and business presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related Finance Discipline.
Extensive financial and operations management experience in a regional and/or corporate environment.
40 - 70% travel
