Description of Work Perform complex tasks associated with ordering and receiving library materials in all formats, including vendor contact, statistics and analysis of usage, and working with software. Participate in digital projects. Work with faculty and staff in Discovery and Resource Management (DARM) and other departments on various projects on digitization and metadata for materials, withdrawal, collection management, etc. Assist with maintenance of library databases (such as Sierra and OCLC) and vendor databases (such as EBSCO and GOBI). Assist with DARM special projects and miscellaneous duties, and follow core competencies. Minimum Required Qualifications High school education plus four (4) years\u2019 of experience in a library or related field; equivalent experience\/education will be considered. Computer skills are required. Ability to handle detailed work accurately and efficiently, to work independently, and to interact cooperatively with others is essential. Good written and oral communication skills are needed. Willingness to work in a flexible work environment and with changing priorities is vital, as is the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidate will have Associate\u2019s degree plus 2 years\u2019 experience in a library or related field; equivalent education\/experience will be considered. Prefer knowledge of Sierra, OCLC, MS Office, especially Excel, and Internet applications. Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required No Physical Required No Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. No Criminal History Background Check Required Yes Posted Salary $13.942\/hr
