Cabelau00e2u0080u0099s has an opening for a Gun Library Manager at our Buda, TX retail store.Position Overview:The Gun Library Manager operates a business with in a business. Their responsibilities are, but not limited to, the daily operation of the Gun Library. This will include the purchase, pricing and sale of high quality new, used and Antique firearms with in there P&L. To Lead by example, the manager inspires his team to reach monthly sales goals in order to achieve maximum profit through buying, selling, and trading firearms. Essential Job Functions: u00c2u00b7 Scheduling for the sales floor and training. Maximize the team to achieve a high level of customer service with updated training and floor coverage. u00c2u00b7 Internal customer service, taking care of outfitters needs and giving them the tools that will make them successful u00c2u00b7 Overseeing the purchase and trades. The team controls our inventory with the highest % of margin in how well they purchase or handle trade ins. The Library makes its money during the buy.u00c2u00b7 Marketing being proactive in the layout of the Library. Also, working with the Internet Specialist to achieve the highest potential in turn, both on the floor and online.u00c2u00b7 Working with customers on the phone or the sales floor. Making deals with them but maintaining the highest % of margin.u00c2u00b7 Customer Service time spent with customers in answering questions about their firearm, quoting a price for their gun or a retail price of ours, whether on the phone or sales floor. Helping outside of the Library. Requirementsu00c2u00b7 High School Diploma or Equivalentu00c2u00b7 2 to 4 years experienceu00c2u00b7 A knowledge of firearms acquired by either working in the firearms industry, or collecting firearms is the best type background. A good understanding of retail and a knowledge of computers is helpful but not as important as a strong background in firearms collecting. You need to have a great work ethic in this position and the abilty to multi task. u00c2u00b7 Able to appraise and know the marketable value of antique and high quality firearms. The large variety of these guns and the span of time it takes to acquire the knowledge of them is difficult to achieve. Other Skills/Abilitiesu00c2u00b7 Must be able to read documents, printouts, reports, computer screens and other written communication.u00c2u00b7 Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers and co-workers.u00c2u00b7 Must be able to stand and/or walk to fill orders, assist customers on the sales floor, etc.u00c2u00b7 Must be able to stock product at various racking levels, use step-stool or ladder, etc.u00c2u00b7 Must be able to place product on/off conveyor, trucks, shelving, etc.u00c2u00b7 Must be able to write, type and use phone system.u00c2u00b7 Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
