ENTERPRISE CONTENT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST/INDEXER â€“ Information Management A resource is required to perform information analysis activities, such as manually mapping or indexing data structures from existing business application databases to our Common Information Model to â€œharmonizeâ€ or conform the data. This work is part of an effort to establish align to a single enterprise information architecture. Seeking a Content Management Specialist to support the Information Management department with such aforementioned information analysis, including generating information products for internal audiences, supporting operational reports, accessing data structures from SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2 as well as helping manage data modeling tools and systems such as erwin data modeler. Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): Manually index data entities and attributes collected from existing business application data structures against the company's Common Information Model. Collect existing attribute data values from existing databases and rationalize them against other collected data values to suggest enumerations for the common model. Work with internal stakeholders to understand existing data structures and definitions. Provide operational assistance in support of the data management function and data management related solutions. Collaborates on the development of information models. Other duties as assigned. Education: Prefer but not required Bachelorâ€™s degree in Library Science, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience. Essential Job Requirements & Skills: Experience in adhering to information management standards and best practices. Experience successfully producing information products for various audiences, utilizing a mixture of text, charts, graphs and other visual displays of information to effectively communicate the state of their information assets. Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information at all times. Proficient in the use of office productivity tools, such as the MS Office Suite. Familiar with database management and modeling tools such as Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL Server, and erwin. Comfortable with lengthy sessions of row by row data analysis. Positive learning and working attitude. Team player with good interpersonal, communication skills. Self-starter, quick learner, able to handle multiple concurrent assignments. Works well independently and with little direction. Ability to adhere to organizational and department specific safety standards and guidelines. Flexible, versatile, and conscientious. Familiar with different work management methodologies. Ability to listen; practices attentive and active listening; has the patience to hear people out; can accurately restate the opinions of others even when he/she disagrees. Excellent writing, editing and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively and support efforts of team members.
