This position is accountable for coordinating the testing activities for the CHI applications currently in the application management organization with a priority on the Epic OneCare Program application.
Assists with definition and administration of testing requirements, plans and mitigation strategies across Epic implementations, including coordination, integration and reporting, to ensure system meets MBO, end user and business requirements.
Adhere to CHI standards, Vision and strategy.
Coordinate planning and administration of comprehensive testing cases and resources for Epic implementations, including functional, performance, stress, unit, system, device, regression, integration, end-user testing and other testing as needed for all test phases.
Assist with the development of test scenario/case set up and revisions to test cases.
Perform audits to ensure adherence to testing standards and processes.
Coordinate accumulation, storage, and management of test data, to include generation of test status reports.
Develop testing templates for scripting, administration, and defect logging, and communicate with analysts developing test cases and administering tests to ensure consistency throughout the testing process.
Assist with triage, assignment and tracking of defects with appropriate team for resolution in a timely fashion.
Provides communication and appropriate escalation of all testing issues and activities for the application(s).
Create and adhere to process methodologies, policies and procedures for testing activities for both new project work and maintenance and support for Epic application(i.e. Test Strategy, Test Case, Test Summary, Metric reporting, etc…).

Skills, Requirements, and Certifications(Includes specific or unique technical skills / knowledge / experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading application testing activities including writing and running test cases.
May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.
EPIC Certification in assigned application within 12 months of hire required, unless already certified.
Skilled in Microsoft Office products required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within/across teams to collaboratively solve issues.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, at a level to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
Sharp attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to efficiently react to a rapidly changing large-scale enterprise environment and meet goals of timeliness and quality.
Ability to manage and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Strong time management skills in order to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience and knowledge of IT, Business Analysis, Quality, and Project Management industry standards, best practices and frameworks such as IIST, ASQ, PMI, CMMi, TMMi, ITIL or COBIT is preferred.
Experience with Epic and/or healthcare information systems preferred.
ISQTB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) preferred.
Experience with Test Management Processes and Software (HP ALM, Quality Center, JIRA, other) preferred.
