Required Related Experience
Ability to retrieve and shelve library materials, which may require stooping or climbing a step stool. Ability to push up to 50 lbs. and lift up to 25 lbs.
Monday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Noon – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, Noon – 4:00 p.m.
Processing incoming journals and newspapers; retrieving and shelving microform; assisting patrons at the Periodicals Desk; shelving reference materials; other duties as assigned.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Attention to detail; good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently; comfortable with computer databases or willing to learn.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
Customer service experience and some knowledge of library databases is helpful.
