The Worcester Public Library is seeking candidates for the position of Head of Talking Book Library Services! This is a high-level professional supervisory position under the overall direction of the Head Librarian with overall responsibility for exceptional service provided to individuals with a vision impairment, physical or reading disability. This position will primarily be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Worcester Talking Book Library Services Division, of the Worcester Public Library. This position works with all WPL divisions in promoting and providing accessible services and materials. The person in this position will also collaborate with regional Library organizations and directors of regional blindness/disability service agencies to promote the resources and programs provided by the Worcester TBL. The ideal person in this position will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills and have experience working with diverse populations in an urban environment.
