EDUCATION & PSYCHOLOGY LIBRARIAN
: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Libraries seeks to fill the Education and Psychology Librarian position. Reporting to the Team Leader for Teaching & Learning, the librarian serves as the subject liaison for the College of Education and the Psychological and Brain Sciences Department, and supports the research, teaching, and learning of faculty and students for related departments and programs. The librarian will assume direct responsibility for collection development, reference and research consultations, instruction and support for a diverse community of faculty and students.
As a member of the Research and Library Instruction Department, the librarian provides instruction and general reference for the Main Library including government publications. The librarian participates in and develops programs in support of the Libraries endeavors within the University community. The librarian also works with staff to execute the departments initiatives.
Develops and manages the librarys collections for education and psychology.
Serves as primary liaison to faculty and students in the College of Education and the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences.
Provides instruction, workshops, credit courses, and other kinds of outreach, developing collaborative relationships with faculty, staff and students.
Engages collaboratively with other library staff and with relevant academic departments and programs to enhance scholarship and teaching.
Participates in Libraries initiatives outside RLI by serving on Libraries and campus committees and contributing to other relevant activities and events.
Maintains a course of personal professional development through active participation in professional associations or other appropriate professional activity.

Salary and appointment
: Start date is negotiable. Appointment will be made at the Librarian (I) or Specialist Librarian (II) level.
