Due to a retirement, the Northern Waters Library Service (NWLS), an eight county federated library system headquartered in Ashland, Wisconsin is seeking a full time Integrated Library System (ILS) Administrator. Under supervision of the Director, the ILS Administrator is responsible for:
Managing the efficient operation of the NWLS functions of Integrated Library System (ILS), Merlin.
Providing professional and courteous ILS administrative support, training, and services to NWLS libraries.
Designing and maintaining the NWLS website.
Qualified candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience supporting, managing, or troubleshooting ILS applications, especially Sierra applications by Innovative Interfaces, Inc., and designing and maintaining websites are preferred. Candidates must also have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain a cooperative working relationship with NWLS staff and all persons and institutions serviced by NWLS. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license and means of transportation are a requirement of employment.
Minimum salary $45,000, commensurate with experience. Attractive benefits package is provided.
