Ability to search bibliographic databases, including library catalogs, and to understand bibliographic information in relation to physical and/or digital items in hand**

Ability to build and maintain digital collections.

Ability to interact collaboratively with others.

Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.

The Congressional Research Service, within the Library of Congress, is part of the Legislative Branch of the federal government. As such, all positions are in the excepted service.
