Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Inc., a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Full-time Document Control/Archivist Specialist to support our Office Services group in Lancaster, PA. Document Control/ Archivist Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : \tPerforming all aspects of maintaining the document control system and performing word processing duties for procedures as needed \tOrganizing and performing all duties associated with adding, transferring, and destroying archive boxes \tWorking with management team to evaluate existing processes for improvement opportunities \tTaking on special projects and backing up other departmental duties as needed The ideal candidate would possess : \tStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skills \tExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail \tAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude \tAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies \tAt least two years of work experience performing office administrative tasks such as formatting documents, database entries, and spreadsheet work Basic Minimum Qualifications : \tHigh school diploma or equivalent \tExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access \tStrong computer, documentation, and organization skills \tAble to frequently lift and carry 25-40lb archive boxes \tAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
