Our Process: Setting your expectations - Developing and maintaining candidate and client relationships is very important to us. We feel that a big part of establishing candidate relationships is setting your expectations up front. With that in mind, we hope the following information is helpful: The most effective first step for you as a new candidate is to apply on-line to the Pro Search recruiter that specializes in your area of expertise. Our on-line application gives you the ability to submit your resume and other important information directly into our exclusive database. You can update your resume and other information at any time in the future, ensuring that we have the most up to date information about you – during your current job search and throughout your career. Your application is entirely key word searchable (including resumes and cover letters) and confidential and our database is the first place we go every time a new search assignment comes into Pro Search. Once you’ve signed up, our specialized recruiters carefully evaluate your resume against all current recruiting assignments (and temporary/contract jobs, if appropriate) and we will contact you to invite you in for an extensive interview if your professional background fits the requirements of any of these assignments. If there isn’t a current match, we will contact you when/if an appropriate career opportunity does become available in the future, and invite you in for an interview at that time. You should know that we will never submit your resume or forward your name to ANY client without your prior knowledge and approval. We understand and respect the importance of confidentiality when trying to make a career change. Whenever we have a recruiting assignment that does appear to be a fit, we will contact you to discuss the opportunity in detail and to learn more about your professional experience and aspirations. We'll most likely have you come in to meet with us at that time. If after that discussion, your experience matches our client's requirements and the position appears to be a good career opportunity for you, we will get an interview set up for you with our client. We will play an active role throughout the interview process, getting feedback for you from our client and expecting feedback from you about the opportunity. We will NEVER pressure you into taking a job with any of our clients. Our job is to screen opportunities for you and help you assess the plusses and minuses of every job opportunity. The Benefits of Utilizing Pro Search - Ever wonder how some people continue to progress in their careers? They always seem to be at the right place at the right time. Just lucky? Probably not. The majority of candidates we represent are not actively looking for a new job, but know that in an ever-changing market we can keep them confidentially informed about outstanding career opportunities whenever they arise. We've developed a solid reputation with hiring managers for identifying and evaluating the best talent, giving us access to opportunities simply unavailable through other sources. We offer valuable advice on job search strategies, interview techniques and compensation issues. We give candid feedback regarding your marketability, and discuss all viable options with you - developing a game plan that will lead to interviews and offers. They say looking for another career opportunity is a full time job; let the people who do it for a living assist you! We make sure that every interview you go on with our client companies is worth your time. We know your time is valuable, especially if you're taking time away from your current employer. We make sure we understand your background, your career aspirations and your motives for looking for a new opportunity before we ask you to invest your time in any interviews. This approach cuts down on unnecessary interviews, which also increases the odds that your job search will remain confidential. We give you valuable insight into the companies and positions that we represent. Our intimate knowledge of our client includes an understanding of their company culture, management style and future business plans. This not only allows you to make an informed decision before accepting an interview, it gives you the insight required to interview effectively. This "competitive advantage" really can make a difference! Our direct access and relationships with decision makers at our clients allows us to circumvent the "resume screen" that often disqualifies a candidate before the interviewing even starts. We often represent opportunities simply unavailable from other resources. With our understanding of our client company's business needs, we often can create opportunities that don't currently exist by leveraging your background and our reputation into an initial meeting between you and a decision maker at our client.
