Project Coordinator/Design Librarian
The Project Coordinator/Design Librarian supports the Design team to maintain the services required for smooth operation of renovation projects, resort operations, and the Resort Renovation & Design Department within this international hospitality company.
This position is responsible for keeping the Design Library organized and up to date and acts as the main contact for outside design representatives.
Through the Project Coordinator/Design Librarian’s support, the Design team is able to mitigate owner/guest impact while delivering exceptional product enhancements at Company resort locations.
This position is responsible for executing small reserve purchases and screening unbudgeted requests submitted by resort operations, potentially impacting managed associations and Company financial results
Responsible for the organization of the Design Library and scheduling outside vendor meetings for the Design Team. Research and remain current on design trends and new products – 25%
Assist the Design Team with any re-selections for requisition requests for resorts: this includes researching products, obtaining pricing, lead times and creating specifications for approval – 20%
Support the Design Team by assisting with preparations for formal design presentations: order samples, fabricate color and material boards and digital elements – 15%
Assist Interior Designers with installation documents and writing specifications – 15%
Support Interior Designers by selecting preliminary color and materials, pricing and writing specifications – 10%
Provide Count-on-Me customer service while fielding miscellaneous phone calls and emails from vendors, contractors, resorts, and internal departments. Performing other duties as required – 15%
Non-Essential Job Functions
Participate in corporate functions and activities as needed.
Assist in facilitation of associate functions in the corporate offices on an as needed basis
Other duties as assigned.
