Creighton University School of Law is currently seeking applications for a Senior Librarian for Reference & Instruction. The Senior Librarian will provide Legal Reference Services and teach Legal Research & Writing. This position will supervise circulation, interlibrary loan and document delivery services and stack maintenance. The Senior Librarian for Reference & Instruction will participate in faculty, student, staff and public teaching and outreach, including the use of research guides and social media. Formal teaching could include teaching the Legal Research and Writing course to first year students and an Advanced Legal Research course to upper level students. Other teaching will include bibliographic and database instruction to students, faculty, and staff. The Senior Librarian will create, implement, and improve user service policies and procedures. This position participates in Law Library leadership team decision making. The Senior Librarian will coordinate policies and procedures to provide users with the widest possible access to both our print and electronic resources. Supervises one full-time library specialist.
