The Administrative Assistant will coordinate all administrative duties for each division as well as provide secretarial and clerical services for the division dean.
Salary range is from $2,320 to $2,616 per month.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a related field. Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a United States Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as
SACSCOC
Three years administrative experience. Excellent customer service skills.
Computer skills that include a mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of, and committed to the unique nature and role of this position and the College.
Preferred Qualifications
Successful administrative experience in a library, Learning Resource Center, and/or faculty development area.
Experience using Blackboard and/or Canvas, EZ Proxy and LibGuides.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Coordinate work schedule to accommodate the Centers for Learning Resources and Transformative Learning (
CTL
Greet visitors in person or on the telephone; answers requests and inquiries for information; route callers to the proper person or department or division.
Compile and check time sheets for full-time and part-time employees based on the requirements for each division.
Produce information (correspondence, memoranda, reports, forms, tables, etc.) by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, & graphics
Organize work by reading and routing correspondence, collecting information, and sorting and filing documents and other materials.
Preparing, submitting, and following up on requisitions.
Maintain scheduling for Learning Resources and
CTL
personnel;arranges meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel.
Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
Assist the Deans in arranging and conducting meetings, orientations and workshops. Serves as a liaison between the Deans and students needing referrals.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret computer periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, software documentation, procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situation.
Basic knowledge of accounting procedures.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in written, oral, schedule, or diagram form and deal with multiple concurrent abstract and concrete variables.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use computer terminals, personal computers, and common productivity applications software including Word Processing, Editing, and Database Management in the Windows environment.
