Under close supervision of the Library Facilities Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the cleaning of UC Irvine Libraries' buildings (Langson and Ayala Science Libraries, and the Libraries Gateway Study Center). These duties will include but not be limited to: floor care, dusting, bathroom cleaning and disinfecting kitchen cleaning, cleaning of fixtures and furniture, interior and exterior trash removal, window cleaning, and additional tasks as necessary to ensure all facilities are maintained at a high level of cleanliness. Responsibilities may include weekend work during opening, closing, peak work periods, and may also include after-hour events, and emergencies response & cleaning.
