Full time LMS position, split between two districts (50% Cambria-Friesland, 50% Randolph)
Create and maintain a library that is user-friendly; Assist staff in library media instruction; Develop rapport with students and provide a caring and structured environment; Assist students and staff in developing research skills in relation to current library resources; Order and process new materials based on goals and objectives of the district; Provide direction in the evaluation, selection, and use of new technology; Promote and facilitate communication among the library/media staff; Assist in the supervision and evaluation of library/media staff; Classify, catalog, process and organize educational media; Evaluate contents of library for obsolete and warn materials; Maintain a current inventory of holdings; Update on-line circulation system regularly; Attend professional development meetings and working within professional learning communities; Work effectively with students who are at-risk and have special needs; Show the ability to build and enhance relationships with staff and students; Effectively communicate with staff and parents to ensure student success within the district.

The district includes the villages of Cambria, Friesland, and six townships. The district enrolls approximately 420 students in one building, PreK-12. We maintain an average class size ratio of 12 students to 1 professional teacher in grades 1-12. The district's students are found among the best in performance on the WKCE test, repeatedly earning spots on the top ten lists for both reading and math among CESA 5 school districts. Our students have several enrichment opportunities including programs, extra-curricular activities, and sports.
